Join author, Joyce Miller, in this creative writing workshop where participants will draw storytelling inspiration from the image on a postcard!

"Postcards are the perfect venue for the practicing the craft of storytelling. Learn how to edit so the complete narrative, memoir or poem fits with the physical card. Practice how to slow down.

As the author of two historical fiction novels and a memoir, I bring a storyteller's eye to the art of the postcard. I'm an active member of James River Writers and an avid postcard enthusiast through Bring Back Paper, a community dedicated to helping people slow down, unwind, and reconnect through paper-based hobbies like letter writing, journaling, and paper crafting.

Postcard Prompts draws on both my narrative craft and my love of tactile, handwritten connection to help participants unlock quick, evocative storytelling. One postcard at a time!"
