Poster-making workshop
Event description
Pussy Willow Power Collective and Troppo Print Studio are hosting a joint protest poster-making workshop in the tradition of art collectives and generations of feminists before us. Using collage techniques, simple stencils, freehand mark-making and screen printing, participants will be guided in the creation of a group poster. The group poster will be hung in solidarity within QVWC for the remaining week of the exhibition.
Troppo print Studio is Naarm's only screenprint specific Open Access studio led by arts workers Matt Feder and Sarah Murphy. The pair research, curate and facilitate within the field of screen-printing with a focus on the broader implications of the medium socially and politically. A rare space focused on sharing resources, stimulating ideas, and a co-operative learning structure.
