Pot Luck: Could there be a twist in the story where humans save the planet?
Description
As spring bursts out of every earthy crack and concrete pavement, this session invites you to look at what’s happening in the world and respond through creative writing.
This isn’t about artists saving the world, but about offering alternative ways of looking at things: future fictions, sci-fi scenarios, possible outcomes, imaginings and dreams.
When we look up at the sky, what do we see going on? When we lie down at night, what flies around our minds? When we wake up, what do we say, and how do we feel?
We’ll write our responses down and see what we have.
"And once the storm is over, you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm is all about.” - Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore (2002)
