Pottery Painting with Minky's Pottery

Pottery Painting Class – All Experience Levels Welcome!

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned creative, this class is perfect for you. We'll begin with a short demonstration covering a range of painting techniques, including sponging and colour blocking. After that, you'll be ready to dive into your own design! Choose from a selection of provided patterns, bring your own, or simply go with the flow and let inspiration strike.

Each participant will receive one shallow bowl—handmade locally at Minky's Pottery—to paint during the class. Additional pottery items will be available to decorate for an extra fee (payable on the day, time permitting), but there’s no pressure to purchase anything beyond your included piece.

Included in your session:

• A handmade shallow bowl

• Use of brushes, sponges, and a wide range of paints

• Glaze firing of your finished piece

• A relaxed, creative atmosphere!

All pieces will be glaze-fired off-site with a clear gloss, making them food-safe and dishwasher-safe. Your masterpiece will be ready for collection in 3–4 weeks.

Please Note:
Clay is a natural material, and while every care is taken during firing, occasional breakages can happen. No refunds can be offered for damaged pieces, but we promise you'll leave with wonderful memories—and likely a beautiful keepsake to show for it!
