Ruthie is a distinguished pediatric and perinatal psychotherapist with over a decade of experience serving individuals and families. Her professional journey has taken her through diverse settings, including schools, domestic violence shelters, early intervention programs, and hospitals, where she has provided invaluable support to those in need.

Currently, Ruthie holds a dual role as a clinician and clinical faculty member at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry. Her contributions extend beyond clinical practice as she actively engages in teaching, writing, and research in the fields of perinatal and pediatric mental health.

A prolific writer and presenter, Ruthie's work has been featured in esteemed publications such as The Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post.
