Pouch Perfection Workshop
Event description
Join us for an engaging sewing workshop where participants will learn to create stylish and functional pouches! This hands-on session is designed for those with prior sewing experience, as we'll dive straight into techniques and projects.
In this workshop, you’ll learn a simple pouch design—perfect for everything from cosmetics to tech gadgets. Our skilled instructor will guide you through selecting fabrics, cutting patterns, and mastering essential sewing techniques. You'll learn how to install a zipper, box out your bag bottom and hide your seams- valuable skills that can also be applied to garment making!
Bring your sewing machine and favorite tools, and come prepared to unleash your creativity! By the end of the session, you’ll leave with one completed pouch and the skills to make even more at home. Join us for a fun, productive morning of sewing, where you’ll connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts and enhance your crafting skills!
Participants must already know how to:
- use your sewing machine
- be comfortable sewing straight lines
- have experience cutting from dimensions given
This is a BYOM (Bring Your Own Machine) workshop and sewing machines will not be provided. Participants will need to bring all necessary machine accessories to participate- pedal, power cord, bobbin, machine needle and sewing machine manual (if available).
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.

About the instructor
Nicole Peebles is an Austin based textile artist with a focus on giving forgotten materials new life. She has always been creative and crafty. Nicole has been sewing since a young age and learned many different art forms through her education.
