Event description

In this workshop, Toshiko Oiyama will lead you through the steps of ink drawing starting from mixing ink, preparing the paper, when and how of pouring, and various types of subtle interventions and their timing. The program also includes mixed media treatment of pour drawing such as overdrawing, tearing, puncturing and threading the paper. Throughout the workshop the importance of critical observation and composition will be discussed.
