Talking about Power and Privilege - how to use them well

What: An introductory webinar on how we can use our power and privilege well.

Discussion topics include:

Types and sources of power
Healthy use of power
Understanding intersectionality with the "Wheel of Privilege"
Practical ways to use your privilege well

want to better understand your own power and privilege and learn to use them well
are changemakers who are values-based and purpose-driven
have a strong desire to improve your impact and learn to share power

How: This webinar will use experiential learning and peer education approaches as well as slides and discussion

An exploration of concepts that apply to areas where many of us are not aware of our impact
An invitation to be open to seeing aspects of yourself that you may not have considered before
Intended to support people to improve your impact with a focus on inclusive leadership

A place for judgment, guilt and shame.
(Some of these feelings may be present and to keep the space productive and respectful we invite participants to be mindful of the impact of their words and actions.)
