Power Botany 3: Whale Watching Edition
Event description
POWER BOTANY 3: Whale Watching EditionÂ
With Solly AND Ben
We are very lucky Ben Parangi, whale expert and researcher, is joining us on June 30th for a wildflowers and whales queer bushwalk. June 30th is also whale census day!
Meet at 1 Captain Cook Drive in Kurnell at 9am. Message me if you'd like a lift (I have limited spots), best to carpool as parking might be tricky on whale census day.
We will be walking up to Cape Solander from Kurnell and then along the cliffs to find a spot to watch whales! The walk will be about 8km return. Bring binoculars if you have them!
We will be walking on Gweagal land. This is and always will be Aboriginal land. Please be respectful of this land and think about indigenous peoples ongoing care and connection to this land and waters.Â
If you have any questions please message me on instagram @sollyfrank
