Presented by Jaime MacDonald from Safemetrics

Join us for a practical Power Hour Plus with SafeMetrics. We’ll look at the amendments to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, which take effect on 1st April 2027, and what they mean for businesses of different sizes.

The session is based on WorkSafe’s latest guidance. We’ll explain the changes in plain English and work through everyday examples, so you can see how they apply to your own workplace.

You’ll take away:

A clear picture of what’s changing and when

How to tell whether you’re a small or large PCBU, and why it matters

What counts as a critical risk, and a simple way to identify yours

What small and large PCBUs need to do under the new duties

Practical steps you can take now to prepare

Whether you’re a business owner, director, manager or people leader, this session will help you get ready calmly and with confidence, well before the changes come in.

Doors open at 12.15pm for a light lunch and networking.

Go up to level 8 and down the stairs to level 7.
