🌻 Spiritual Community is an essential part of personal practice. Both go hand in hand, and support one another, and both are essential for well-being and growth.Without community, our personal practice is isolated, and it’s hard to flourish that way.

✨ When we find a home in community, we can practice alongside others and celebrating our lives, growing together.

❁ The day will include a brief talk on the notion of spiritual community (known as ‘kalyāna mitta’ in the older traditions), followed by a group exercise sourced from deep ecology practices.

❁ This will be followed by some light qigong/tai-qi, then a guided meditation, and group discussion to reflect on insights gained through our experience.

❁ Delicious treats and tea will be provided at the end of the session, so we can all nom-nom and have some fun hanging with each other too.

👁 If you're looking to be part of loving community and strengthen your practice, or even if you're new to practices such as tai-qi and meditation and your curious, we'd love to hear from you.

A bit out Stephen M Graham

Stephen is the founder of Supermind.

➾ He teaches meditation at workshops, classes, and retreats in various locations around the Sunshine Coast and South East Queensland region.

➾ His offerings include meditation training, body movement practices such as yoga and tai-qi, and mindfulness-based therapies.

🔅Stephen was a Buddhist monk for four years🔅

Philosophy :

Buddhism is simple - live an ethical life with kindness, cultivate the mind through meditation and gain insight on how to be happy.
He has spent years solely dedicated to meditation, studying Buddhist literature in its original Pāli/Sanskrit language, and being part of a strong spiritual community that helped to understand the nuance of those teachings. Stephen is lifting these ancient teachings off the page, blowing the dust off and bringing them to you, in their original form.
Many people say to him their life changes dramatically after coming to my events. They become more loving to themselves and their loved ones, and start to value the powerfulness stillness they feel in meditation.
It is his life long journey to bring these teachings to the community, so we can heal and grow together.
