The Power of Observation

Join Courtney Hunter-Hebberman, Peramangk Traditional Custodian, cultural educator, artist and advocate, for a shared lunch, meaningful conversation and a gentle walk on Country beside the River Torrens / Karrawirra Parri.

Courtney is passionate about sharing culture, caring for Country and strengthening community connections. Through storytelling, cultural education and on-Country experiences, she works to preserve and celebrate First Nations knowledge while creating opportunities for learning, respect and reconciliation.

Together, we'll slow down, observe the landscape, listen to stories, and explore what it means to build culturally safe relationships with Country and each other through a First Nations perspective. This is an opportunity to see the landscape through different eyes, deepen your understanding of the place we call home, and spend time connecting with Country, community and one another.

We'll gather for a free shared lunch before taking a gentle walk together. There will be plenty of time for conversation, questions and reflection throughout the afternoon.

This is a free, family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome. Whether you're new to learning about First Nations culture or looking to deepen your connection with Country, we invite you to join us.
