Get ready to think pink as Women in Tourism Gold Coast brings you one of the most anticipated events on our annual calendar – the Annual Long Lunch: Power of Pink.

Join us at the iconic Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for an afternoon of great food, meaningful connections, inspiration and plenty of pink, as our tourism and hospitality community comes together for a cause close to our hearts.

The Power of Pink Long Lunch is more than a networking event. It is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends from across the industry, celebrate the strength of our community, hear from an inspiring panel of women and help make a difference.

We are delighted to welcome Emma Lovell as our MC, guiding us through an afternoon of connection, conversation and purpose.

Our special Power of Pink panel will bring together:

Lorretta Wiggins – sharing insights into the latest advances in breast cancer treatment and technology.

Dr Heidi Peverill – bringing her medical expertise and perspective to the conversation around breast cancer treatment, care and advances.

Felicity Merrick – sharing her own experience and perspective.

Together, the panel will explore treatment, technology, progress and lived experience, creating an informative and uplifting conversation about how breast cancer care continues to evolve.

And, of course, there will be plenty of time to enjoy everything our Long Lunch is known for – delicious food, networking, entertainment, fundraising, prizes and a few surprises along the way.

Whether you've been part of the WIT community for years or you're joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome. Bring your colleagues, invite your industry friends and prepare for an afternoon of connection, celebration and purpose.

Founded in 1987, Women in Tourism Gold Coast is one of the key networking groups on the Gold Coast for tourism professionals. Our events are educational, inspirational, and most importantly, fun! We started out as the Gold Coast Women's Australian Travel League for women who worked in the travel industry however, in 2002, reflecting the changing times and to be able to open up membership to a larger audience, Women in Tourism (Gold Coast) Inc was born.

Through our events, we aim to showcase the amazing products and services the Gold Coast has to offer, as well as encourage, motivate, and support women across the sector.

Our committee is formed by passionate volunteers whose aim is to create a welcoming environment for our guests, as well as give back to the Gold Coast community through funds raised with raffle sales.

Whether you work for a multinational hotel group or own a small business, rest assured you will create long lasting relationships through our community.
