Power to Pursue- Cleveland Kickoff

Welcome to the Power to Pursue Cleveland Kickoff event! Started in 2021 in Cincinnati, Power to Pursue is a Women's Movement where women feel supported, celebrated, and seen. Through year-long programming and our annual empowerment summit, we bring together like-minded people on diverse paths. When we share our journeys and truly listen, we can help each other uncover our own power to pursue. We’re working together to level the playing field, and invite women at all stages of their journey to join us.  Join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland for the exciting kickoff where we will start to build this community and provide direction and insight into what Cleveland programming should look like.

To help with the Kickoff we will be welcoming Candice Matthews Brackeen, who is the General Partner at Lightship Capital, where she finds and funds high-growth, minority-led companies operating in underserved ecosystems throughout the Midwest. Launched in 2020, Lightship Capital is raising $50MM for investment into underrepresented founders operating in the CPG, E-Commerce, Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, and Healthcare spaces. Candice is also the Founder and CEO of Lightship Foundation, the inclusion-focused entrepreneur enrichment program guiding minority founders with instruction in product development, brand building, leveraging artificial intelligence for business, and fundraising.

There will be a cash bar and lots of time to mingle and build community in this beautiful space!
