Power Tools 101: Chopping Board, 1 Arnold Street Cambridge Saturday 13 April 10.00am - 1.00pm

Thanks to Waipā District Council’s Waste Minimisation Community Fund for funding this series of workshops.

In this workshop, The ReCreators will teach you about woodworking and how to safely use tools. You will leave with your own upcycled chopping board and Planter Box!

All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.

Please note that you need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
The workshop will provide the following:

  • -Health and Safety Briefing
  • -Instructions to make the chopping board
  • -Step-by-step use of all tools
  • -Where to extend yourself for Tools 102
  • -Personal attention where required

When: Saturday 13 April 10.00am - 1.00pm 
Where: 1 Arnold Street, Leamington, Cambridge
