Power Up 4 Dust Up - Metro Community Cooking 2026

Prepare Produce Provide will be facilitating Metro Cooking sessions held at Foodbank, Perth, Western Australia in preparation for our annual trip to the Ngaanyatjarra Lands for the 'DUST UP 2026' carnival.

These cooking sessions are available for Perth Metro Schools that have a class doing hospitality or community services, or for Corporate Organisations that wish to participate in this unique opportunity to help us prepare, cook and package a range of menu items alongside Prepare Produce Provides head chef Tanya Healy.

Background

For several years a small PPP team has travelled over 2000 kms into the central dessert to cater for approximately 350 students and teachers for a 3-day annual joint community Sporting Carnival. There is a lot of fanfare involved with the kids coming from across the lands partaking in sport, dance, music, fireworks and of course the yummy healthy food we create.” Power up 4 Dust Up” is the motto.

As facilities are limited on site, we have created the opportunity for Perth metro students and corporate organizations to take part in the preparation, cooking and packaging of menu items in readiness for this event to be held at Foodbank, Perth.

The dates for the metro sessions will be from 9:00am - 2:30pm on the following dates:

Monday 27th July 2026

Tuesday 28th July 2026

Wednesday 29th July 2026

Thursday 30th July 2026

Friday 1st August 2026

Select the date available that you would like to attend. Please note that each session can have up to 25 participants from your school or organisation attending. Only one school or organisation per day.

Cost

For Schools:

The cost for schools is $250.00. When selecting the available day you wish to attend, please also select the ticket price of $250.00.

For Corporations:

The cost for Corporations/Businesses is $3,000.00. When selecting the available day you wish to attend, please also select the ticket price of $3,000.00
