Join in an adventure through immersive, respectful, reflective and creative practices that tie in the connection of navigating Disabled realities and how intercultural practice can support starting over/rejuvenation.

The event will share First Nations and Yoruba stories, an immersion of both traditional and experimental music and dance. This generous offering will also include clay making, a shared work contributing to a collective installation to be shown later and a take-home piece to take with you. This is an opportunity to document your rejuvenation story in a way that has potential to grow.

This event contains content of culturally sensitive nature. Please come with respect and an open mind. There will be Yidaki (digeridoo) playing, sharing creation beliefs and values. It is advised not to share cultural or creative information or practices presented on the day. as they are meant to be of a reflective nature. By purchasing this ticket, you are agreeing to the terms laid out above. We hope you will participate in some or all of the activities on offer on the day. As always, the choice is yours.

Please note: Saturday 21st November will be selected through an EOI process by a selection panel. Sunday is registration.

Worldy Bodies ensures well considered equitable space for all D/deaf D/disabled Communities. We encourage and welcome D/deaf and D/disabled communities and allies from IBPOC Indienous, Blak and or People of Colour identities to place an expression of interest (EOI) to attend on Saturday the 21st of November 12-4pm. The EOI will be reviewed by a panel to meet culturally aware peer to peer participation.   

Both workshop days with have Auslan and blind low vision access. Our Event producer Elyssia will be sharing our access document shortly, please note our access doc is a live working document we will continue to update as we head towards the workshop dates.
