Event description
Using Stacks Powerfully in Writing Workshop
Twilight Presentation - 4th March, 2021
Facilitated by Amanda Bartram
Are you using 'stacks' in your Writing Workshop? Would you like to use them with maximum effect? Stacks can be incredibly powerful - for use in Writer's Meetings (Mini Lessons) and conferences with young writers BUT ESPECIALLY in the immersion phase of a Spotlight Study.
Come and explore how to get the most from your stack and how to use it to empower young writers to 'read like a writer' and energise their own writing!
PLEASE BRING YOUR CORE/GENERAL STACK TO THE SESSION
In this workshop, Amanda will:
- Discuss the role of and how to 'build' powerful 'stacks' for general use and spotlight studies
- Explain the different uses of your stack in the Writing Workshop
- Demonstrate how stacks can be used to generate ideas and learning opportunities during the immersion phase of a SpotlightStudy
- Show you how to curate your stack to make the most of it
Light Afternoon Tea is provided
