Powerful Women Go To The Botanic Gardens
Event description
Please join us at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, hosted by Presiding Member (and passionate Port Adelaide FC supporter), Judy Potter and Director Michael Harvey, where Judy will share with us her fascinating story of a life that has spanned many different challenges and careers, including working in the arts and youth services, before becoming CEO of SA Great before taking on chair roles for many community boards, such as the Adelaide Fringe, SA Film Corporation, Adelaide Festival, the Adelaide Central Market Authority, as well as the Botanic Gardens. We will then move to the Bicentennial Conservatory to see the Chihuly exhibition and have Director Michael Harvey talk to us about the Chihuly exhibition and in particular, the special pieces created for Adelaide. Guests will then be invited to see the remaining exhibition for the next 30 minutes before the Gardens close at 6.30 pm.
