Powering Progress: An Upper Hunter Manufacturing Meet Up

Join us on Wednesday afternoon, 31 July, in Muswellbrook for an insightful event hosted by the Hunter Manufacturing Awards in collaboration with The Melt. This gathering is designed to encourage networking, collaboration and information sharing, as well as showcasing the benefits to manufacturers in the Upper Hunter to apply for the Hunter Manufacturing Awards.
The event will feature three speakers who will provide valuable insights and practical advice on topics critical to the success and growth of local manufacturing:
- Access to Support and Funding Opportunities for Upper Hunter Manufacturers plus Explore the Reporting Landscape: Brett Thomas and Baidy Barton, The Melt: will discuss the latest initiatives for manufacturing, including the Future Made in Australia bill, the National Reconstruction Fund, and the Industry Growth Program. Learn about the importance of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Business Case Development, and how The Melt is aiding startups and scaling businesses in these areas. Discover how to navigate upcoming legislation under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (N GER) Scheme, including tracking and reporting scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, which are essential for securing funding.
- Embracing Today's Technologies: Empowering Manufacturers for the Future: Greg Hyslop, CEO of Biscit will share insights from thousands of global manufacturing users of his technologies on the latest advancements and how they can empower manufacturers to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.
- Growing Your Network and Business Opportunities through the Hunter Manufacturing Awards: Jacqui Daley, Chair of the Hunter Manufacturing Awards board, along with former HMA participants and winners, will share their experiences and insights on the benefits of applying for the Awards. Learn how participating can enhance your network, open new business opportunities, and contribute to the prosperity of the Upper Hunter manufacturing community.
