PowerUp your Connections – Networking Event
Event description
At the second event in this two-part series, connect with tech business that are looking to recruit women like you at this facilitated networking event.
You will have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with tech businesses, or businesses with tech roles, who are actively currently hiring. Find out more about what they do and practice discussing your skills and the value you will bring to their business.
Note that you don't need to have attended the first Workshop event to attend this event - it is open to anyone interested in gaining a role in 'tech' (and it's not necessarily just technical roles).

What to expect at the event
You will be welcomed on arrival and have the opportunity to grab a refreshment and chat informally with the other attendees. We will then kick off into facilitated networking - round robin style, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the businesses present and talk about your skills and the types of roles you are looking for. You may arrange follow up coffee/meetings with those where there is interest, if you would like.
Prior to the event you will be sent a list of the businesses/employers attending so that you can do some research and be prepared with some questions.
