It’s time for a truly progressive Council in Port Phillip!
Join us for a special announcement about the October 2024 City of Port Phillip Council elections.

It will be a pleasant Sunday afternoon with drinks at the bar, finger food and a fantastic raffle, so please bring cash and cards with you!

This year we continued our program of Community Conversations:

• The Defunding of Local Arts & Culture
• Breaking the grip: Councils and the neoliberal agenda
• Renting in Port Phillip and an action plan for change

 
We helped expose Council’s Bingate saga, made submissions on the Council Budget and Housing Strategy Discussion Paper and supported numerous local campaigns from greater bike safety to a climate action plan with teeth to the massive Macnamara for Yes referendum effort.
 
There’s lots to reflect on, plans to implement and bold ideas to pursue
