Practical Climate Action in the Home and Community with Hannah Moloney

Join author, practivist and media personality Hannah Moloney as she shows you how to take practical action in your home and community to address the climate emergency. Hannah has spent the last 10 years developing her suburban property in Tasmania to create a low-carbon, abundant, resilient and regenerative lifestyle. Drawing from her real-world experience this workshop will cover tips, tools and actions in the garden, at the kitchen bench, in the house and with the community that reduce our carbon footprint AND bring joy! With the Farm's gardens as a living classroom we'll explore garden design, no-dig gardening, soil improvement and keeping chooks.

About the facilitator

Hannah Moloney hails from Meanjin/Brisbane but is now based in Nipaluna/Hobart. She's the Tasmanian host for ABC TV’s Gardening Australia, a permaculture educator, community worker, designer and best-selling author (including her latest book Good Life Growing). She's trained in community cultural development and permaculture and has spent the past two decades getting her hands dirty in the garden, with community change projects, political and front-line activism. Hannah's most excited when she's working with people and landscapes - this is her happy place and where she is most useful for the world.
