    Event description

Join Christina Wilson and Naomi Lewandoski in this interactive workshop designed for Singing Teachers in the first 5 years of their teaching careers. In this workshop we'll discuss and play with gadgets, props and body movements you can use as a singing teacher. You'll learn about the benefits they have to the student’s voice and learning, and how best to utilise them in your singing lessons. From the why and how of straw phonation to breathing balls, bouncy balls, stretchy bands, balance exercises and linking body and movement, this fun workshop will give you ideas to add to your teaching toolkit and help students develop skills that feel innate.

This is an in-person event designed to build community amongst teachers starting their teaching journey. This workshop aims to provide a safe space for beginner teachers to learn, ask questions and build community.

PLEASE NOTE THIS WORKSHOP IS DESIGNED FOR SINGING TEACHERS IN THE FIRST 5 YEARS OF TEACHING. If you have been teaching for more than 5 years please look to our professional development events aimed at all levels of teachers on our website https://www.anats.org.au/event...
