Securing funding for research is an ongoing activity that takes time and energy, and increasingly, agility. One part of the activity is putting the proposal into writing.

In this online workshop, Dr Fiona MacIver and other academic writers will provide practical steps for improving the practice of grant writing while discussing how habitual writing can be leveraged for grant applications, how strong structures can be built within the writing, and how expression can be finessed.

By sharing the experience of these expert writers, this workshop aims to increase the effectiveness of time spent writing for grant applications and to increase capacity for responding rapidly to unexpected funding opportunities.
