ACT: Practical Strategies for Working with Pop and Rock Singers
Presented by Emma Wilson
Saturday, 25 May 2025 | 10:00am – 1:00pm (9:30am arrival)
Location: Radford College, Bruce ACT
Registration cost: FREE

This practical workshop will introduce a simple step-by-step voice building and troubleshooting approach, specifically for pop and rock singers. You will learn to identify the technique and style elements you hear in your students' voices and the singers they love, and have the chance to try out the techniques on your own voice. These teaching strategies will be practical and evidence-based, so you can help your singers make the sounds they want to make in a sustainable way. Following the workshop, a teaching demonstration will allow you to see these strategies in action. Come along to top up your teaching toolbox with some fresh and easy to use tools for working with pop and rock singers!

Free to attend and open to all. RSVP for this opportunity to connect, learn, and refresh your practice.
