PRACTICE YOUR POWER workshop

I invite you to journey deep into your cycle and to practice your power.

This affirming and joyful afternoon workshop is a place for you to explore your four menstrual cycle phases in a supportive, embodied and experiential way. There is a time to Dream, to Do, to Give and to Take and in this workshop we will honour every phase to its fullest expression.

Most of us learnt about the menstrual cycle as something to be managed or tolerated and many of us carry internalised shame and often feel that we are either not enough or too much.

It’s time for a change. It's time to shift shame and stigma to pride and empowerment. It's time to harness the power of your period!

No experience is necessary. You are never too young or too old to reclaim the power that is rightfully yours.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO -

- Refresh your understanding of the cycle and practice your power

-Cultivate a deeper connection to yourself

- Move through the world just as you are no matter what day you are on

- Shake off shame and feel restored and empowered

OUTLINE -

6 pm-6:30 pm: Cycle overview and check-in

6:30-7:30 pm: Guided meditation and movement through the menstrual cycle phases using music, breath, visualisation and voice

7:30-8:00 pm: Capture your cyclical journey with journaling

8:00-8:30 pm: Sharing circle and group singing

8:30-9:00pm - Refreshments and close

The evening includes:

• Healing Soup and herbal tea • A comfortable space with yoga mats and blankets and bolsters • A magnetic graph of the cycle for you to take home

What to bring:

• Dress comfortably so you can move freely

• A journal and drawing materials if you like (some provided)

LUCY PEACH -

Lucy Peach is an award-winning period preacher who uses her experience as a human biology teacher, sexual health educator and performing artist to create transformational experiences with the menstrual cycle. Author, theatre-maker, singer-songwriter, TEDx speaker, she works on stages, with sports teams, schools, board rooms and offers online courses to give people their greatest period ever.

She is passionate about empowering people with a cycle and helping the world to become more cycle-centric.
