Practitioner Circle
Event description
A circle gathering for practitioners of bodywork, shiatsu, and other allied health practitioners such as TCM, naturopaths, homeopaths, osteopaths, counsellors, birth workers, palliative care/death doulas and anyone interested and practising allied complimentary health and well being.
The circle gathers monthly and aims to have a guest speaker on a diverse range of subjects and teachings. The speaker will engage us for the first hour of circle. This will be followed by a general circle check-in and discussion.
Together we wish to nurture a community of practitioners for mutual support, inspiration, and opportunity to come together creatively to grow and take a deep breath in our shared care of others and ourselves.
For April, we have the wonderful Annie Fogarty to speak with us about death and grief care. Â Annie has over 30 years experience working as a yoga teacher and a birth worker, with a strong focus on the wisdom of our bodies and tuning into and allowing breath to guide us. Â For the last seven years, Annie has been working with death and grieving families, walking beside families following the loss of a baby. Â Annie brings her warmth, wisdom, and experience to our circle to explore the topic of death and care. Â https://tenderfunerals.com.au/melbourne-greater-east/
