Prana Flow goes South : Breathwork, Mudra, Flow at Swell Yoga Studio
Event description
Prana Flow is a workshop designed by Karina and Katie,
an exploration of the Five Vayus through meditative flow and specialised breath work.
During Prana Flow we will be using meditative Yoga asana, pranayama and mudra to balance our five Vayus of Prana designed to bring the five Vayus in harmony, encouraging a vibrant life force, vitality and longevity.
The five Vayus of Prana each have unique energetic qualities and a directional flow to them.
The management of this Prana is very much a part of our yoga practice.
Prana has an intelligence that instructs our senses and is responsible for powering the body to move and the mind to think.
Prana is categorised into the five Vayus (translated to ‘winds’).
When understanding the five Vayus, we have to first understand that we have an astral body or subtle body, made up of Prana that underlies our physical body, this is called 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚.
Prana is our life force, our vital energy permeating through our subtle body, much like blood and lymph flow through our physical body, only we can't see Prana which can often make it more challenging to understand.
This 2,5 hour long experience is a journey through the sheaths and layers of energetic body, bringing you back to your remembering what makes you feel VITAL, what brings you to LIFE, through breath, meditation, mantra and rhythmic flow.
The event will be held at Swell Yoga studio in Margaret River.
