PRAXIS is a movement rebellion.

Every month, we gather at Metro Arts to come undone on the dance floor.

To sweat out the static.

To show up, drop in and let the body lead.

To remember what it feels like to be fully, dangerously alive.

No choreography. No judgement. No distractions.

Just pure liberation to an exquisitely mixed soundtrack and guided facilitation.

Getting there:

2-hour free parking is available at West Village, with limited on-street parking. 15-minute walk to South Bank and South Brisbane train stations. Close to several West End bus routes, including the 199,198,196,192 and 60.

Hayley live-mixes the soundtrack while guiding you through spoken provocation. Follow along to the verbal cues and explore each movement meditation with us, or do your own thing. There is no wrong or right way to participate.

Meet your Facilitator

I'm Dr. Hayley Linthwaite: a creative provocateur for change.

Every day, we dance on the razor’s edge between what is and what could be.

My life’s work is in the unlock - that charged space where breakthroughs are born.

I have spent over 30 years igniting the sparks of transformative change in boardrooms, workplaces, classrooms, and communities.

Embodied movement is just one of my methodologies for change.

We’re all feeling a level of disconnection and exhaustion, stuck behind screens, living too much in our heads and too little in our bodies. There’s a hunger for things that are human and real. Physical, tangible, alive experiences.

PRAXIS is both a response to this moment and a rebellion against it.

At PRAXIS, the dance floor becomes a developmental training ground for consciousness, self-actualisation, adaptation, and resilience. It offers a doorway to transformative growth, with effects you feel far beyond the dance floor.

PRAXIS is part of The 360 Emergence global movement, an embodiment, free-form, movement practice.
