There has rarely been a more open moment. Australians are spiritually hungry, curious about the supernatural, and increasingly open to prayer. Our prayer ministry training day is designed to help your team minister with confidence.

We're thrilled to welcome Emmy Wilson to the Sunshine Coast for a full day of training designed to equip and release ordinary believers into the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit.

Emmy began her ministry as a registered nurse caring for AIDS patients in the 1980s before becoming an ordained minister. She served on staff at Holy Trinity Brompton (the home of Alpha) from 1985 until 2023. Emmy played an integral role in establishing Alpha's prison ministry, beginning with a single visit to Exeter maximum-security prison in 1994, where two high-profile inmates were radically saved. That visit became the catalyst for Alpha to multiply into more than 900 prisons across 46 countries. Her life is marked by obedience to God, surrender to the Holy Spirit, and a deep desire to keep Jesus at the centre of everything. Emmy carries a remarkable anointing and a breakthrough spirit, and she gives herself generously to impart all she can, wherever she goes

Across the day, Emmy will teach, model, and create space to practise. Topics include:

Partnering with the Holy Spirit in prayer ministry (and the heart and guidelines behind it)
Living from your identity in Christ, intimacy with the Father, and a renewed mindset
Leading someone to Christ and praying for people to be filled with the Holy Spirit
Repentance and forgiveness as the key to freedom and healing
Moving in the prophetic and words of knowledge
Praying for physical healing
An introduction to deliverance ministry
Safeguarding well as you minister to others

This day is for church leaders, Alpha leaders, ministry teams, and anyone who wants to grow in praying for others with courage and compassion. If you've ever watched the Alpha Weekend and longed for your team to step out more confidently when the Holy Spirit moves, this is the equipping day for you.

Come ready to learn, to be stirred, and to be released.
