Description

PRE-SAVE: Showcasing the next wave of Australian music!

Come along to the first edition of PRE-SAVE on May 2 2026, and discover the next wave of Australian music.

Pre-save is more than a gig; it's a showcase of emerging musicians from around Australia, held in Adelaide.

Headlining the night are Molly Rocket, an angsty, alternative rock band from Adelaide, who mimic the heartbeat of 90's rock through a modern lens.

Catch Adelaide alternative rock band The Fuss command the stage, with their incredible stage presence.

WA indie-rockers Hey So Hungry are joining the lineup for their Adelaide debut, and if you're a fan of Florence and the Machine or Spacy Jane, you're going to love Hey So Hungry.

Kicking off the night are Darlington, and whilst they haven't released any tracks so far, they've been dubbed a band to watch in the Adelaide scene.

Lineup

  • Molly Rocket

    Molly Rocket

Angst-driven, fun, strange and unlike anything you’ve really seen, the alternative rock band Molly Rocket are churning out tunes which mimic the heartbeat of 90’s rock through a modern lense.
Starting as a way to let off some creative steam in a Northern Suburbs lounge room and accidentally taking local legend status; they’ve become a known voice for young adults in the scene. In the short span of two years, Molly Rocket have managed to spark some serious interest in the AUS music scene supporting 90’s Aussie alt rock icons Spiderbait, as well as modern legends King Stingray, Ocean Grove, Teenage Joan’s, Polish Club, West Thebarton and Smith Street Band. In may of 2023 they join indie giants The Rions on their Australian “Scary Movie” tour.

  • The Fuss

    The Fuss

What’s all the fuss about? Presenting an unapologetically authentic take on alternative indie rock, The Fuss are the new kids on the block, except, they're not really kids, and they're not really new to the block. Best buds Sammy, Liam, Oliver and Callum met studying at the University of Adelaide in 2022, and bonded over a shared love for bands like Fontaines DC, Ballpark Music and The Cranberries. Simultaneously inspired by the burgeoning Adelaide scene and with aspirations for a band of their own, The Fuss was formed. Spending much of 2022 and early 2023 incubating, the band would finally take to the stage on a cold May night at Arthur’s Art Bar, and quickly assert themselves as a mainstay of the local scene. Fusing an array of musical backgrounds all the way from classical to metal, the group have become synonymous with heartfelt anthems and indie bangers that encapsulate the essence of contemporary adolescence. With plenty on the horizon, keep your eyes on these ones.

  • Hey So Hungry

    Hey So Hungry

Hey So Hungry are an Indie-Rock outfit from Perth, Western Australia who have begun to capture audiences with their charismatic live performance and unique songwriting. The band takes inspiration from bands such as Florence and the Machine, Middle Kids and Spacey Jane. Having recently completed high school, the band are ready for the next step in their musical career with performances over many live music venues in WA and consistent dedication to honing their live performance and recording new music. The band have supported Aus legends like Old Mervs (WA), Pacific avenue (NSW), DICE (WA) and The Grogans (VIC) and have no plans on slowing down!

  • Darlington

    Darlington

Darlington is an indie-rock band based in Adelaide, derived from blues and folk, with their simplicity and driving harmonies. The band was founded at the end of 2024 by siblings Kalen & Lulu. Then, Jacob & Ethan joined, and the band was complete. They started playing live shows at the beginning of 2025, having their first debut show at the Exeter Hotel, where it was packed to the absolute brim. Their sound is heavily influenced by American rock, blues, and folk music.
