The course combines classroom instruction with hands-on practical exercises focused on hemorrhage control, airway management, hypothermia prevention, and rapid patient stabilization. Christopher Klingenberg, MD | |
Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 19 years of full-time clinical experience in emergency departments. He also serves as a Tactical Medic for the Nacogdoches SWAT Team and has provided tactical medical training to multiple local law enforcement agencies, serving hundreds of officers since 2020. Dr. Klingenberg brings extensive training expertise in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), and Mass Casualty Incident Management. He has completed advanced training through the Basic Tactical Operational Medical Support program (BTOMS), International School of Tactical Medicine (ISTM), Counter Narcotics and Terrorism Operational Medical Support (CONTOMS), and the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation’s Mass Casualty Incident Training Course. He is also an adjunct instructor for the Basic Tactical Operational Medical Support program in Houston, Texas. | |
As a highly experienced instructor, Dr. Klingenberg has led numerous SWAT medical training programs, Patrol Officer Medical courses, and Combat Shooting and Tactics (CSAT) medical modules.
