Precepts Study Group
Event description
The precepts are are at the heart of Buddhist practice and support the deep intention to live for the benefit of all beings. In this class, we'll study the precepts as they have been handed down to us, and also explore how they can guide us in our actual life, with all its complications and challenges.

The group will be co-led by Head Priest Sessei Meg Levie, Abiding Teacher Jisho Warner, Annette JoE' Lille, and Edmée Danan.
This study group is open to all, regardless of experience.
It also is being offered in conjunction with the opportunity to prepare to formally receive the precepts through working with a teacher and sewing a rakusu, the small version of the Buddhist robe. If you have been praciticing at Stone Creek for a while and would like to explore receiving the precepts and bodhsattva vows, please contact Meg at meg@stonecreekzen.org.
