FAQs

What is a professional health coach?

A health coach helps people uncover their own path to health, pinpoint their goals, and create strategies that fit their lives, fostering a mindset where they truly believe anything is possible. Because really, anything is.

What makes health coaching so effective?
A health coach listens deeply to understand an individual's unique needs, diving into what really matters to them, and figuring out how they can achieve their health goals in a way that lasts. This isn't just about quick fixes - it's about empowering people to see the limitless possibilities for their health and wellbeing.

Are professional health coaches legitimate healthcare professionals?
Absolutely. Professional health coaches are specifically trained to support individuals in making sustainable lifestyle changes that improve overall health and wellbeing for good. Health coaches complement other health professionals by focusing on behaviour change and personal empowerment.

What makes a PREKURE-trained health coach different?
PREKURE Certified Health Coaches undergo rigorous university-level training that meets the highest professional standards in Australasia. They are trained by some of the best clinicians, coaches, and academics in the field of preventative lifestyle medicine, behavioural change, and coaching. This means they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to help people make meaningful, lasting changes in their health journey.
