    Event description

    Struggle with creative writing??

In this HSC Kickstarter Holiday Workshop, we’re going to help you master Creative Writing for the new HSC English Syllabus and Module C! In this 3 hour workshop during the school holidays we’re going to help you:

Understand the form of creative writing

    • Know and analyse your prescribed text
    • Respond to a stimulus and use your prescribed text
    • Choose a topic to write about
    • Learn creative writing skills
    • Write a reflection statement
    • What makes an exemplar response
    • Tackle practice questions
Why is it important to master this now?

Due to the nature of the questions in the new HSC syllabus, learning and memorising a creative writing piece will not work. This workshop takes a skills-based approach which provides students with the tools they need to respond to any creative writing stimulus.

    What’s included?
    • 3 hour workshop run by an experienced HSC English teacher!
    • Small personalised class
    • A resource booklet that guides you through how to craft an amazing creative piece

+ as a BONUS you receive free attendance in Week 1 and 2 of Term 1 Year 12 at Art of Smart’s HSC Success Program! (valued at $140)

How can I attend and what is the cost?

Investment: $120 (incl GST) for 3 hour workshop
