Preliminary SAT Exams at The King's School

At The King's School, we are proud to be one of the few schools in Australia offering Preliminary SATs (PSAT8/9, PSAT 10 and NMSQT) exams for both our own students and those in the community.

PSAT exams are a valuable opportunity for students to practice their exam technique and use their results to target their revision for later SAT exams.

PSATs are conducted at The King’s School aligned with US College Board calendared schedule, typically held on a morning in March for all students and October for the NMSQT for US citizens only.

The cost for each exam is $120.

Ticket sales will close on Friday February 13, 2026.

Please note: The King’s School collects certain personal information to register students with the College Board for exam purposes. This includes, but is not limited to: first name, middle initial, last name, date of birth, gender, grade, and U.S. citizenship status. This data is collected solely for the purpose of facilitating registration and will be shared with the College Board during the ticket-buying process. College Board will store this data in accordance with its own privacy practices, which may involve overseas data storage. For more details, refer to the College Board’s Privacy Policy. The King’s School retains this information for as long as necessary to fulfill registration requirements and complies with its obligations under the Privacy Act 1988. Any refunds requested prior to February 13, 2026 will incur a $60 fee to cover the costs from College Board.

Any refunds requested after February 14, 2026 will not be provided.

Once the sales have closed, you will receive an email with further instructions.
