Preloved Goods Donation Day 2026

Preloved Goods Donation Day is an opportunity for the Boroondara and Stonnington community members to donate reusable items to charities, social enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations.

Donating your preloved goods is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Book your spot and check the accepted items list below

2. Gather and sort your good condition electrical and household items for donation

3. Drop off your items at our drive through

Collected goods will be distributed to the attending organisations, who will then take them off-site immediately after event conclusion.

This drive-through event will only accept items in good and reusable condition. Broken, damaged, or dirty items will not be accepted, and attendees will be required to take these items home.

Accepted items:

Australian Red Cross

• clothing (adults)

• clothing accessories (including hats, shoes, bags, jewellery)

Dr Cranky's

• bike parts - locks and parts in good working order.  e.g. new tubes, tyres

• bike tools

• bicycles (adult)

• bicycles (kids)

• bike helmets

Our Village

• clothing and shoes for children up to 16 years old

• car restraints - manufactured October 2018 or newer (no booster seats)

• cots and bassinets - must be disassembled

• prams

• toys - in good condition suitable for children up to 3 years old (under 30cm in size, no batteries)

• children’s games and puzzles

• books in good condition for children up to 3 years old

• linen - for bassinets, cots and single beds (no quilts or doonas)

• dining table and chair sets

• fridges

• washing machines

• digital TV with remotes

• kitchen appliances (ONLY toasters, kettles, sandwich presses, stick blenders, rice cookers, slow cookers, air fryers)
