    Toy Swap and Sustainability Chat

Have you ever thought that toys are likely the first thing your child discards? Empower them to live sustainably from the start!

Join Joy of Giving for an interactive session to educate and inspire families about sustainability through the lens of toys.

    Highlights:

    • Sustainable Choices: Learn how to make informed decisions when selecting toys for your children, focusing on durability, reusability, and environmental impact.
    • Emotional Development: Why toys are important to Children Development, and how they can be used effectively.
    • Culture of Reuse: Discover how adopting a culture of reuse can positively impact the environment and your community.

    Community Toy Swap Station:

    • Swap A Toy: You may bring 1x TOY with you and encourage your child to write a message for the next owner, where your toy will be treasured

    Objectives / Outcomes:

    • Promote Sustainability: Educate participants on the importance of reuse and making eco-friendly choices through the lens of toys.
    • Encourage Reuse: Highlight the power of reuse and how we can amplify the impact of giving resources a second life and reducing waste.
    • Foster Community Engagement: Create a supportive environment for sharing ideas and experiences about sustainable living.

This talk aims to make a positive impact on both the environment and families by encouraging thoughtful choices and fostering a culture of reuse.
