Premier's Harmony Dinner 2024

Join us at the 2024 Premier’s Harmony Dinner. 

Hosted by the Minister for Multiculturalism, with the Premier of New South Wales, join us in honouring the past, celebrating the present, and building a brighter future together.  

The Premier’s Multicultural Community Medals and Honour Roll Awards 

The heart of the night lies in honouring the outstanding recipients of the Premier’s Multicultural Community Medals and inductees of the Multicultural Honour Roll. These exceptional individuals have played an instrumental role in shaping our harmonious society. 

Your ticket includes: 

• A three course meal with drinks 
• First class live entertainment 
• Networking opportunities with diverse leaders in the government and community sectors. 

Dress code: Black-tie or cultural dress  

Your ticket price includes GST and a minimal booking fee. Humanitix donates 100% of profit from your booking fees to children’s charities. 

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? 

There are no minimum age or ID requirements to enter the event. Alchohol will only be served to people 18+.

What are my transport or parking options for getting to and from the event? 

• TRAIN
A short walk from Central or Town Hall Stations will take you directly to Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and Sydney Visitor Centre. Town Hall and Central Stations are a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney. Please check Sydney Trains for timetable options. Please see the ‘Getting Here’ link for directions to ICC Sydney.

• LIGHT RAIL
A 10 minute light rail trip from Central Station will take you to ICC Sydney. The closest station to ICC Sydney is the Convention Centre station.

• BUS
ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney. Please check Transport NSW website for all public transport options.

• TAXI and UBER
The best taxi and Uber drop off and pick up locations include the Iron Wharf Place next to Harbourside Shopping Centre and Zollner Circuit on the Southern end of First State Super Theatre. Both can be accessed via Darling Drive. Iron Wharf Place is the closest drop off location to the Event.

PARKING 

ICC Sydney has two car park facilities located within the Exhibition Centre and First State Super Theatre, comprising a total of 826 car spaces. Both carparks are located along Darling Drive. 

Vehicle entry height is 2.2 meters. 

The best carpark to use is P1, which is under the Exhibition Centre.  

Additionally, there are secure car parks located in and around Darling Harbour, including Wilson Harbourside Car Park and Wilson Darling Square Car Park that have their own set price of $15 flat fee.

Once I arrive, where do I go to register? 

Entry to the building will be via the Ceremonial Entrance located on the Ground Floor of the Convention Centre, opposite the Sofitel Hotel.  

Registration will be at Level 4 of ICC Sydney Convention Centre.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? 

No, if you have a copy of your ticket saved in your phone or in your emails, you can show it to the registration team upon arrival. We have your details stored digitally in our ticketing platform. Only registered guests will be admitted into the event.  

Can I update my registration information? 

Yes, you can. In the original email you receive from Humanitix containing your Premier's Harmony Dinner ticket, there is an 'Edit Order' button. This will link to the site where you can update your personal ticketing information. This is particularly useful if you have purchased a table of 10 and need to go back into Humanitix to fill out the details of your guests - such as dietary requirements.  

I tried to update my dietary requirement but why does it still indicate 'none'?

Our ticketing platform, Humanitix, is currently experiencing an IT issue where the guest’s ticket indicates ‘none’ as the dietary requirement. However, we confirm that all guests’ dietaries are correctly displayed in our database and we are closely monitoring the issue until it is resolved.

In the meantime, you can also check if your ticket correctly displays your dietary requirements. Simply click the 'View Ticket' in your email from Humanitix to view your ticket and the dietary information you have indicated.

Can I buy a table for 10 without having all my guests' names, and update the details later?

Yes, you can purchase a table of 10 now and update guest details later. Use the 'Edit Order' button in the original email from Humanitix with your Premier's Harmony Dinner ticket to access the site and update personal ticketing information, including guests' names and dietary preferences. Ensure all details are updated before ticket sales close on February 22.

Is my ticket transferable?

Yes, you can transfer the name on your ticket by going into Humanitix and updating the details before ticket sales close on February 22.

If I cannot attend, can I get a refund? 

If you are unable to attend, please send your request for a refund to events@multicultural.nsw.gov.au  

Refunds will be provided if notice of the cancellation is received before 5pm Thursday 29 February. 

Is it okay if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? 

No. You need to go into Humanitix and update the name on the registration for your ticket, so you have the correct name on the night.  

What should I wear? 

We would love to see you in your cultural dress. Black tie and evening dress is also suitable for this event. 

I observe Ramadan, are there prayer rooms available for my use?

Yes, prayers rooms are available at the venue. Dates and water will be available to you outside the prayer rooms.

Please check that you have indicated your dietary requirements on your ticket to ensure that the appropriate food will be served to you during the Premier's Harmony Dinner.
