This group meets to discuss topics including life changes, strategies for comfort, wellness and managing stress, and finding resources for pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum care.

Join us for the launch of our twice-monthly prenatal drop-in! This week, a dietitian will discuss pregnancy nutrition and an Indigenous Grandmother will share valuable teachings. It's a great chance to connect, learn, and refresh your knowledge in a supportive space. All are welcome!

Join us to explore the final stages of pregnancy and early signs of labor.
Gain information to help you feel prepared and confident as you approach your baby’s arrival.
- October 21/24 (Lactation and Special Guest: Milk Mentors)
Join us for a to talk about lactation. We will cover the basics, address common challenges, and highlight available community support.
Milk Mentors is a safe, welcoming space for parents from all walks of life to ask questions and seek support with their milk-feeding goals. They are led by a community of trained Peer Volunteers with lived experience. They offer 1:1 support via talk, text, email and/or video chat, as well as in-person group support at community organizations throughout the city. Always free. Always supportive.

Join us for an uplifting session where we celebrate the beautiful changes your body undergoes during pregnancy and postpartum. In this supportive space, we'll explore how to cultivate a positive relationship with your body, embracing its transformations. We’ll also delve into nutrition, focusing on freeing ourselves from restrictive “food rules” and discovering a balanced approach to eating. Let’s share our experiences, learn from one another, and navigate this journey together!
- December 2/24 (Caring for Yourself After Baby's Birth)
Join us to talk about what to expect in the initial time after baby is born, ways to manage both physical and emotional changes, and community resources to help.
- December 16/24 (Feeding your Newborn)
Feeding your newborn is one of the most important decisions you'll make, and how you choose to do it is entirely up to you. In this session, we'll provide you with information you need to feel confident and comfortable in your feeding journey. We will cover the basics of lactation, address common challenges, and highlight available community support. Our dietitian will discuss postpartum eating - the importance of nourishing your body postpartum, and why it's normal to feel very hungry during lactation.
Registration appreciated, drop in welcome.
A healthy snack and bus tokens will also be available.
