About the Program:

Duration: The program runs for 10 days, Monday to Friday over two weeks, from August 5th to August 16th.
Objective: This comprehensive training program aims to prepare participants for a rewarding career within the Disability Sector.
Accredited Units: Participants will complete units towards the Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability, including:
- HLTAID011 First Aid
- CHCCCS015 Provide Individualised Support
- HLTINF006 Comply with Infection Prevention & Control
- HLTWHS002 Follow Safe Work Practices for Direct Care
Non-Accredited Units:
- Assist with Medication Training
- Behaviours of Concern
- Manual Handling, including Car Transfers
- Buurtzorg 'Taster' Training

Your Pathway to a Career in Disability Care:

Upon successful completion, participants will have the opportunity to apply for a traineeship with VIVA Mutual. This unique "Earn while you learn" approach allows you to gain practical experience while pursuing your certification.
