Are you ready to make a significant impact in the Disability Sector? Join us for one of our upcoming information sessions to learn more about our "Prepare to Care" program, which is designed to equip you with the skills and certifications needed to excel in caring professions.

About the Program:

• Duration: The program runs for 10 days, Monday to Friday over two weeks, from August 5th to August 16th.
• Objective: This comprehensive training program aims to prepare participants for a rewarding career within the Disability Sector.
• Accredited Units: Participants will complete units towards the Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability, including:
  • HLTAID011 First Aid
  • CHCCCS015 Provide Individualised Support
  • HLTINF006 Comply with Infection Prevention & Control
  • HLTWHS002 Follow Safe Work Practices for Direct Care
• Non-Accredited Units:
  • Assist with Medication Training
  • Behaviours of Concern
  • Manual Handling, including Car Transfers
  • Buurtzorg 'Taster' Training

Your Pathway to a Career in Disability Care:

Upon successful completion, participants will have the opportunity to apply for a traineeship with VIVA Mutual. This unique "Earn while you learn" approach allows you to gain practical experience while pursuing your certification.
