Preparing for a winter veggie crop
In this free hands on workshop, Sustainable Gardening Australia will provide you with all the information you need to grow your own winter vegetables.
You will learn about:
- Soil preparation
- Starting with seeds or seedlings
- Improving productivity sustainably – crop rotation and companion planting
- Managing pests sustainably
- Growing winter veggies in pots
- Winter vegetable options
- Garden maintenance.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty in a planting activity.
