Preparing for Death, Learning How to Live
Description
Join Venerable Tsapel for a three-day retreat exploring death and dying.
Drawing on classic Buddhist teachings and guided meditation, the retreat offers a supportive space to reflect on impermanence, the process of dying, and how an awareness of death can deepen how we live now. Teachings will include contemplation, discussion and meditation practices that help cultivate clarity, compassion and confidence in the face of life’s uncertainty.
The retreat is suitable for both newer students and those with an established practice. While grounded in traditional teachings, the emphasis is on integrating these reflections into everyday life in a way that is realistic, humane and meaningful.
Participants can expect a balanced program of teachings and guided meditation, held in a respectful and contemplative retreat environment.
Lunch, morning & afternoon tea included
