Preparing for Parenthood: Pregnancy Information Session
Are you planning a pregnancy or currently pregnant? Join us for a helpful session for international students and their families. This event will give you important information about planning for your pregnancy and beyond.

Listen to expert speakers talk about planning your pregnancy, accessing healthcare during your pregnancy and available services for you and your baby/children.

    Speakers Include:

    • Asma, a Monash University International Student Engagement Officer, to talk about the intermission and underloading process at Monash.
    • Dr Rimma Medres, a GP specialising in shared antenatal care from Monash University Health Services
    • Angie, from Monash Children's Centre to provide information on childcare services at Monash.
    • Leaf and Manny, representatives from Allianz Care Australia to talk to you about your OSHC coverage during pregnancy and beyond
    • Christine, from Monash City Council to talk about Maternal, Child and Family Services, who they are and what they do.

    Event Details:


    Important: Everyone who attends needs to register. If you are attending with your partner, please register for two tickets. Register the number of people attending.

    International Students and their partners are all welcome. Everyone that attends will receive a FREE parent to be bag!
