Event description

WHAT’S AWAKE AT NIGHT?

Join Joe Tonga for a nocturnal adventure on the Preston Foreshore in Donnybrook.

Joe will host a community bat box building workshop for future installation in a nature reserve. Cost is $10 inclusive of a light supper (sausage sizzle, please advise of any dietary requirements). Places for the bat box workshop are very limited. Please book only one ticket per family/couple and advise how many of you are attending for catering. Please also advice of any dietary requirements.

Looking for a school holiday activity? Following the workshop join us for a fauna night stalk along the foreshore led by Joe!

Using the latest infra-red torches and fauna monitoring cameras, night stalks are a great activity for the whole family.

If you wish to join us for both the bat box building workshop and the night stalk please reserve tickets for both events. The Night Stalk cost is $5 per person, however this will be refunded on arrival.

Please meet on the Preston River Foreshore, exact details will be sent in confirmation email on registration. Wear enclosed shoes, weather appropriate clothing and please bring a headtorch if you are attending the night stalk.

This event is supported by funding from the Western Australian Government's State NRM Program, with support from the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup, Donnybrook Lions Club and Inspiring WA.
