    Event description

    Are you interested in creating a safe, inclusive and fun space for your student club/society?

    We all have an important role to play in promoting safety and respect on campus. This workshop focuses on the prevention of and response to sexual assault and sexual harassment, equipping you with the foundational knowledge to be active in prevention and support peers who may disclose an experience of sexual misconduct.

    In this workshop you will learn and discuss:

    • What is sexual misconduct
    • Unpacking the drivers of inappropriate attitudes, norms and beliefs
    • Using your power for good
    • Ethical Bystander Interventions
    • Safe event planning
    • Responding to disclosures 
    • Support and reporting options for sexual misconduct

    **This workshop is specifically for club and society members associated with the Business, Economics and Law (BEL) Faculty.
