Grant Schofield, Professor of Public Health at Auckland University of Technology and Director of its Human Potential Centre, has dedicated his career to combating modern diseases. As former Chief Scientific Adviser to NZ's Ministry of Education, co-author of four best-selling books, and Chief Science Officer for PREKURE, his focus is on promoting long, healthy, fulfilling lives. Prof Grant champions the motto "be the best you can be," aiming to revolutionise the health system by prioritising wellness over sickness. Renowned for his innovative approach to nutrition, weight loss, physical activity mental health, and the science of human potential.
About Sarah Harmer
Interdisciplinary Occupational Health and Wellbeing Specialist
Sarah Harmer is an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Specialist passionate about enhancing wellbeing through improved work environments. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science, and a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology, her research focused on wellbeing in women leaders across NZ and Australia. She has served as Principal Wellbeing Advisor at the Department of Corrections, CCDHB and ACC, bringing a wealth of experience to her consultancy, The Humanity Project. Also a qualified personal trainer and yoga teacher, Sarah advocates for holistic workplace wellbeing.
About Dr Louise Schofield
Professor Behaviour Change Specialist
Louise Schofield is co-founder and CEO of PREKURE, NZ's leading Professional Health Coaching education institute. With a PhD in behaviour change, Louise is a successful entrepreneur, previously spending 15 years leading businesses in the corporate wellbeing industry and developing behaviour change programs to achieve positive wellbeing outcomes. Louise’s mission is to inspire a change in medicine to be more preventative. She is passionate about eliminating the over-prescribing of medication that offers little or no benefit, poor nutritional advice and programs that don’t work, and for the medical community to embrace a lifestyle medicine approach.
