Pricing & Financial Management for Artists

Pricing your work is one of the most important business skills for artists, but it can feel overwhelming. Join Sophia, Founder of ArtSupport, for Pricing & Financial Management for Artists, an introductory workshop on how to calculate costs, set fair rates, and make sure you're being fairly compensated for your work. You’ll learn how to research market demand and structure pricing based on your experience and industry standards. Beyond pricing, we’ll explore business structures, tax obligations, and strategies for managing your finances.  By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a better understanding of how to price your work, manage your money, and build a financial foundation that helps support your arts practice.  

In addition, Lucas Morrison, Senior Accountant at Dark Wave Consulting, will share his top tips for managing taxes for artists and arts workers. Dark Wave Consulting is a boutique Chartered Accounting Firm specializing in supporting artists, creatives and arts workers with tax support.
